I'm glad you came to visit! I’m Blake Pittman and it was my dream that started this business to play in the dirt in exchange for dollars. 

We are your Outdoor Living Concierge with a mission to craft outdoor living experiences that enrich every season of the year and every season of life.

I learned at an early age that I preferred being outside over being inside all the while knowing the work it took to make the outdoor space inviting so you could finally relax. I spent many summer afternoons of my childhood weeding flower beds at my Mamaw and Papaw’s house which engrained in my mind that there should NEVER be leaves in the pine straw used to mulch the garden beds. Nowadays, when any client needs mulch for their gardens, I hear my Mamaw’s voice say, “you better not be using that trashy pine straw” and I maintain that deeply engrained standard every time. 

I got my start in the outdoor living and landscape space by designing and installing landscape lighting. I enjoyed the fitting nature of it because of my being a Night Owl that has a passion for landscaping but not a passion for waking up early.

Eventually, I learned to wake up a bit earlier as my increasing interest in sophisticated outdoor spaces grew into every aspect of outdoor living from landscape; lightscape; hardscape; and exterior design.

By doing more of what I love, I’m able to provide my clients with the time and resources for doing more of what they love which I foster through a collaborative design process that allows for transparent communication and understanding of the vision without rework or final products that leave my client feeling ignored or abandoned.

When I’m not playing in the dirt and buried under piles of sketches, one will likely find me wandering around a national park, camping, or situated with a nice Cabernet and several select choices of cheese.
